The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Wilfred J. Carrier, 85, 55.5 Bromfield St., Newburyport, was arrested Friday at 3:06 p.m. and charged with indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or older. Officer Charles Eaton made the arrest at the Country Manor Rehabilitation Nursing Center, Low Street.

Renee Ann Surette, 28, 15 Moulton St., Georgetown, was issued a summons Sunday at 8:41 p.m. on a charge of assault and battery. Officer Shawn Eaton issued the summons on Milk Street.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Evan A. Kolenda, 23, 29 Bartletts Reach, Amesbury, was issued a summons Friday at 12:05 a.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and operating an uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle. Officers Jonathan Morrill and Raymond Landry issued the summons on Main Street.

William J. Williamson, 41, 8 Carriage Hill Road, No. 18, Amesbury, was arrested Friday at 6:34 a.m. and charged with a previous warrant, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, a marked lanes violation and operating a motor vehicle with an expired inspection sticker. At the same time, Betsy M. Stanley, 38, same address, was issued a summons on charges of allowing improper use of a motor vehicle and allowing operation of a motor vehicle with an expired inspection sticker. Officers Matthew Cunningham and Shane Rodriquez made the arrest on Friend Street.

Kelly A. Babcock, 32, 4 Anderson Lane, Newburyport, was issued a summons Friday at 10:11 a.m. on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and improper turn. Officers Larry Bybee and Robert Chatigny issued the summons following a motor vehicle accident on Main Street.

Howard Ronald Sanders, 40, 81 High St., No. 30, Amesbury, was arrested Friday at 2:40 p.m. and charged with two counts of assault, reckless endangerment of a child under 18 and disorderly conduct. Officers Bybee and Jason Kooken made the arrest at Cumberland Farms, Elm Street.

Jeffrey Keith Nieves, 53, 39 High St., No. 14, Amesbury, was arrested Friday at 8:08 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Officers David Noyes and Landry made the arrest on High Street.

Trina M. Condon, 40, 19 Broad St., No. 202, Merrimac, was arrested Friday at 9:07 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, a lanes violation and a state highway sign violation. Officers Noyes and Steven Reed made the arrest on Elm Street.

Thomas E. Moore, 58, 223 Main St., No. 1, Amesbury, was arrested Saturday at 1:08 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and leaving scene after property damage. Officers Bybee and Craig Lesage made the arrest following a motor vehicle accident on Wells Avenue.

SALISBURY

The following item was recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Corrine B. Merluzzi, 28, 132 Whitehall Road, Amesbury, was issued a summons Saturday at 11:16 p.m. on a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Officers Richard Dellaria and James Leavitt issued the summons on Baker Road following a motor vehicle accident.

SEABROOK

The following items were recorded in the Seabrook police log:

Christopher D. Barry, 22, 689 Lafayette Road, B6A8, Seabrook; and Kenneth Duggan, 23, 32 True Road, Seabrook; were arrested Thursday and charged with possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. Officers Frank Brown Jr., David Hersey, Chester Felch and Sgt. John Wasson made the arrest on Batchelder Road.

James W. Adams, 55, 502 Lafayette Road, Seabrook, was arrested Saturday at 10:17 p.m. and charged with second degree assault and possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. Officers Ryan Kane, Daniel Hickman, Hersey, Mark Richardson and Felch made the arrest on Lafayette Road.

Gregory Thomas Brown, 33, 71 Walton Road, Seabrook, was arrested Sunday at 9:36 p.m. and charged with a bench warrant. Officer Kane and Sgt. David Buccheri made the arrest on Walton Road.

ROWLEY

The following item was recorded in the Rowley police log:

David Peter Pancoast, 51, 22R Elm St. No. 1, Ipswich, was arrested Thursday at 4:56 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery. The arrest was made on Jellison Street.

WEST NEWBURY

The following items were recorded in the West Newbury police log:

William Berry, 43, 56 Temple St., Haverhill, was issued a summons Thursday at 3:49 p.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense) and defective equipment. Officer Barry Coker issued the summons on Main Street.

Matt Hayes, 43, 28 East Main St., Haverhill, was arrested Friday at 10:43 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and a marked lanes violation. Officer Coker and Sgt. Dan Cena made the arrest on Main Street.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded at the Newbury barracks:

John Weber, 37, 51 Ford St., Methuen, was arrested Friday at 2:45 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation and a previous warrant. Trooper Wilson made the arrest following a motor vehicle accident in Merrimac.

Michael Mercauto, 33, 10 Summer St., Reading, was arrested Saturday at 1:28 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation. Trooper Topping made the arrest following a motor vehicle accident in Boxford.

Grosvin Mariona, 39, 4464 Washington St., Roslindale, was arrested Saturday at 4:03 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation. Trooper Lavita made the arrest in Topsfield.
