Event to benefit Historical Society
GEORGETOWN — The Georgetown Historical Society sells raffle tickets to the North Shore Music Theatre’s 25th anniversary production of “A Christmas Carol” on Monday, July 22, starting at 5 p.m. at The Spot, 19 W. Main St.
In addition, 10% of food sales will be donated to the Historical Society.
Blueberry fest at Cider Hill Farm
AMESBURY — Cider Hill Farm celebrates summer with its annual Blueberry Festival on Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The festival features blueberry picking, live music, lawn games, family-friendly activities, hayrides, blueberry sweets and hard cider tastings.
Admission is $8. Cost includes a 1 quart blueberry-picking container and two picking wristbands. Wristbands are required for hayrides and pick-your-own blueberries.
Kitty Cafe in Salisbury
SALISBURY — Kitty Cafe will be presented Wednesday, July 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Salisbury Senior Center, 43 Lafayette Road.
Those who attend will meet kittens that can be adopted from the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society and also Ollivander, while also hearing his story.
There will be light refreshments, and cat care tips and information on adopting and fostering.
Knitters gather in Georgetown
GEORGETOWN — The Council on Aging’s knitting group will meet Tuesday, July 25, at 9:30 a.m. at the Senior Community Center, 51 North St.
The group shares skills and patterns while working on individual projects. Some service projects will be planned. Refreshments will be served.

Bake sale set for Aug. 10
MERRIMAC — The Friends of the Merrimac Senior Center hosts its Gateway to Merrimac bake sale at the center Saturday, Aug. 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be free coffee and tea at the center, 100 E. Main St.
Elder law help in Georgetown
GEORGETOWN — Elder law attorney Elaine Dalton provides free 15- minute elder law consultations Tuesday, July 23, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Senior Community Center, 51 North St.
Appointments are required by calling the Georgetown Council on Aging. Assistance available regarding health care proxies, the durable power of attorney and other elder law issues.

Summer program at Seabrook church
SEABROOK — R4 Summer, a program for children 6 and older, will be offered at Rand Memorial Congregational Church, 134 S. Main St.
The program will be held on Tuesdays — July 23 and 30 and Aug. 6 and 13 — from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Activities include tie dyeing, nature, crafts, cooking, and stories and Bible time.

Balance workshop set for Aug. 13
SALISBURY — Certified yoga instructor Jennifer Freeman leads a balance workshop Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 11:30 a.m. at the Hilton Senior Center, 43 Lafayette Road.
Participants will learn how to reduce the fear of falling and increase their activity level. This session introduces steps to reduce falls, increase flexibility, and improve health, well-being and balance.
The warm-up will be followed by strength and balance exercises, ending with a cool-down stretch.
