SALISBURY — The Salisbury Library Summer Reading Program begins tomorrow and continues through the middle of August.

The theme this year is One World, Many Stories, and the program is a good opportunity to keep reading skills sharp while students are on summer vacations.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to all events, and some require registration. Sign-up sheets will be posted one week prior to the event.

The calendar of events for the summer program is:

July 6, 11 a.m., Story Hour

July 11, 11 a.m., Pumpernickle Puppets

July 12, 4 p.m., Itsy-Bitsy Zone (sign-up required, ages 5 and under)

July 13, 11 a.m., Blue Ocean Society

July 18, 11 a.m., Lindsey & her Puppet Pals

July 19, 11 a.m., Itsy-Bitsy Zone (sign-up required, ages 5 and under)

July 20, 11 a.m., Story Hour

July 25, 11 a.m., Story Hour

July 27, 11 a.m., Jungle Encounters

Aug. 1, 11 a.m., Art Class with Ann MacCrea (sign-up required, ages 6-11)

Aug. 2, 6 p.m., Evening Story Hour

Aug. 3, 11 a.m., Music with Nancy Sweeney

Aug. 4, Reading Logs are due

Aug. 9, 6 p.m., End of the Summer Program Ice Cream Party
