NEWBURYPORT – The Salvation Army is hosting the Santa Pop-Up Fair on Dec. 7 for pets and their owners at 40 Water St.

The free fair, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 40 Water St., is sponsored by Make No Bones dog training service.

Children, pets and adults can socialize with Santa and pose for a photo with him for a $10 donation, unless they are lucky enough to have a ticket for a free photo.

Since its founding in 1865, the Salvation Army has supported some 30 million needy Americans each year without discrimination.

The organization feeds the hungry; aids disaster victims; helps the disabled, ill and elderly; clothes and shelters the homeless; and assists underprivileged children.

For more information about the Santa Pop-Up Fair or to make a donation to help others, call the Salvation Army’s Newburyport office at 978-465-0883.
