SEABROOK —Trinity United Church will serve its 38th annual old-fashioned harvest supper at the Parish House on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.
The meal is based on the turkey suppers held during the Great Depression and World War II at Dearborn Academy by the home workers of Line Congregational Church. At that time, the proceeds helped pay the salary for the Rev. H. Hawthorne Benedict.
The meal will consist of turkey and stuffing, gravy, squash, onions, potatoes and cranberry sauce.
Desserts include home-baked apple, blueberry, mince, pumpkin and squash pies, and Indian pudding with ice cream.
Coffee, milk and cider are included.
This fundraiser will assist with the restoration of the church steeple.
The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. The meal is free for children under 5. For further information, call 498-2182 or 926-5823.
The Parish House is at the corner of Route 1 and Folly Mill Road.
