SALISBURY— The Salisbury Democratic Town Committee hosts a toiletry drive Oct. 28 to benefit The Pettengill House, a nonprofit social service agency.
Donations may be dropped off in the Salisbury Elementary School lobby from 6:30 to 7 p.m. before the annual Town Meeting.
Suggested items include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, deodorant, lotion, hand soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, razors, shaving cream, facial tissues, toilet paper. paper towels, dish soap, baby wipes, hair brushes and combs, diapers, laundry detergent and feminine hygiene products,
The Pettengill House provides services to more than 3,000 individuals, children and families — many of whom are deemed homeless — in Amesbury, Byfield, Groveland, Merrimac, Newbury, Newburyport, Rowley, Salisbury and West Newbury.
Salisbury Elementary School is at 100 Lafayette Road.
