JEN ROCK, TRITON, Senior, Guard

One of the most versatile players on the North Shore, Rock ranked in the top five among all area players in points (12.7), rebounds (6.4), assists (5.5) and steals (4.3). The two-time All-Cape Ann League selection led Triton to its first state tournament victory in more than 10 years.

In Triton's 49-47 victory over North Reading Feb. 3, Rock had 25 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks. In a victory over Newburyport in the River Rival Tip-Off Classic, Rock had 19 points, nine rebounds, nine assists, seven blocks and two steals.

Pentucket coach John McNamara said of Rock following his team's last meeting with Triton, "She's a great player and she's had a great career ... But I'm truthfully getting pretty tired of playing against her. These past four years of Rock preparation have been something else."

Rock, a three-time Daily News All-Star selection in basketball, is as multi-faceted off the court as she is on it. She maintains a 4.4 GPA, is a member of the National Honor Society and is ranked sixth in her class. She cites her coaches, parents and family as her athletic influences. She would like to play basketball in college, but has yet to decide on her school of choice.
